Pinwheel Dishcloth

This is the Pinwheel Dishcloth that I found at Patterns for Putzes. It was a surprisingly quick knit--as a matter of fact I did most of it while at the airport waiting for Big Guy's plane to take off.

I couldn't quite understand the last triangle section; how it was supposed to join to the others. I finally figured it out on my own. There was just some misfire in brain between the written instructions and what I was doing.

Here it is in a multi-color yarn:

Easter Dish Cloths

I did these eight dish cloths for one of my sisters. For the life of me I couldn't remember the colors in her kitchen, so I went with my instincts. And then on the Friday before Easter I realized I should do her an Easter colored cloth since she decorates for all the holidays. That's why there's a lavender one thrown in there. In another post I'll go through them individually and tell about the pattern and give links. (you can click on the picture to "enbiggen" as YarnHarlot calls it.)

Okay, Let's Get it Started

Last year I set a goal to knit a dishcloth every Sunday of the year. I made it until about May when I lost my interest in knitting (and everything else) for a few months, But now it's back. I'm trying for every Sunday, but sometimes things get in the way. Like the dislocated finger. The important thing it to make it to 52 before the end of the year.

So here goes:
Here are nine dishcloths I cranked out in one week because I wanted to get ahead of the game. And besides don't we all need a quick project or two or three once in awhile?

And here are three more that were for a hostess gift for a party I went to in March. There were four--I need to check the camera to find out where that other one went.

Okay, I know what happened--it's the same as the brown/cream diamond one, but with the colors reversed.

And for today, April 5, 2009:
